I. The SalesAlly Product Structure

The SalesAlly product consists of two distinct components:

(1) The SalesAlly WordPress Plugin and (2) The SalesAlly Proprietary AI Service (Backend API).

II. Component Licenses

1. The SalesAlly WordPress Plugin (Front-end Code)

The plugin code itself is released under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later (GPL). You are free to download, use, modify, and redistribute the original source code of the plugin according to the terms of the GPL.

2. The SalesAlly Proprietary AI Service (Backend Service)

The core AI functionality, including the server and the algorithms processing the API data, constitutes a Proprietary Software as a Service (SaaS) offering provided by OIKOSO.LTD. This Service is closed-source, is NOT covered by the GPL, and its use is governed exclusively by our Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Key Distinction: The plugin acts only as a communication client connecting your store to our proprietary backend service.

III. Third-Party and Open Source Acknowledgements

The SalesAlly Plugin may incorporate open-source libraries or components. A comprehensive list of third-party libraries and their respective licenses is available in the readme.txt file within the plugin directory or on our documentation page.

IV. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

Plugin Code: The SalesAlly WordPress Plugin is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, as is standard under the GPL license.

Service: The use of the SalesAlly Proprietary AI Service is governed by the warranty and liability limitations set forth in the Terms of Service. OIKOSO.LTD disclaims all liability for the accuracy of AI responses or the merchant’s use of synchronized data.
